I don't think that Chrome will change the browser quotas, at least in the short-term. What a we developer is getting so far is a new browser to test.

I'm not very impressed with Chrome. Seems like a more boring version of Safari which is a fast but totally underwhelming browser to begin with. I guess this is a very early stage as this browser doesn't have any features whatsoever and for non-techy users it's pretty much the same as Netscape 4.0. Oh, they got the stealth tab...oh well...

While this is only the first version of Google’s browser, Microsoft are also set to bring out a new browser. According to Microsoft, Internet Explorer 8 will give the user more internet preferences and in particular give them more control over their personal data, perhaps keeping the edge on Google’s newest venture.
